Planning a wedding isn’t easy and it is very stressful!

To be organised and realistic is the key…. Trying to organise the perfect wedding on a budget cannot be rushed!!… You need time to prepare… The wedding of your dreams is still achievable, just plan ahead!

We all aspire for the finer things in life, for something out of the ordinary, but in reality its all about the budget. Costs can spiral out of control, Organising an affordable wedding doesn’t mean your special day will be less memorable or enjoyable, it’s about being smart!

Prioritize what is the most important factor of the wedding and splash out on just a couple of things that you are not willing to compromise on….. book your venue, find a make-up artist, order your outfit and book your photographer as early as possible, as these things are the most important and availability is limited, especially if you are set on that specific venue, dress, make-up artist or photographer.

As for the rest of the things, shop around, haggle (it’s in our Asian blood)!!  give yourself enough time to do this.

You may also decide to downscale pre wedding events to budget effectively.

Delegate!! Get family members and friends involved! Ask for help with running about picking things up.. save your energy for what’s really important… Don’t forget you want to enjoy this day… its your day and using all your energy doing things that other can do for you will just leave you stressed and run down when it comes to your wedding day.
